- Hotham Airport at Horsehair Plain is the highest commercial airport in Australia. A number of charter operators fly in year-round.
- The Dinner Plain Bus Service runs between Mount Hotham and Dinner Plain.
- Snow Dog Transport offers daily services between Melbourne and Mount Hotham during the winter season.
- The Alps Link bus service runs from Bright to Omeo via Harrietville, Mount Hotham, Dinner Plain and Cobungra.
- Take the V/Line from Melbourne to Seymour, then a coach to Bright. From Bright, take the Omeo-Bright Alpine Bus link.
